In the spirit of Spring, a new month and a teeny tiny rebrand (welcome to Rewilding Emily!), I’m offering a new thing. Let me know what you think!
Do you have a journaling or writing practice? I find it so helpful to process things I’m feeling and experiencing, and reading back has taught me a lot about where I get stuck, and where I flourish. It’s all growth, but it can be really interesting to actually see it and learn from it!
That said, my practice certainly ebbs and flows, and occasionally completely stagnates. In those times, I like to use journal prompts to help get things flowing again, and they often lead me down a new path that I may not have taken otherwise.
Whether your goals are healing, personal growth, or simply curiosity, if you are interested in a bit of rewilding inner work and self-exploration, I invite you to try these the next time you need a little nudge!
May Prompts: New Beginnings
~ What is one thing you have been wanting to start or change recently? What is one small step you might take towards that thing?
~ What is one positive change you have already made in your life from the last year? Take a moment to reflect on your strengths and the progress you've made recently.
~ In your body, in your mind, or in your heart - how would you like to feel this month? What is one small thing you might do to support this feeling?
Write your answers in whatever format you feel most comfortable with - bullet point, longform, doodles, stickers, paint, etc. Speak from the heart. You can keep your answers or burn the evidence; the exercise is simply to nudge you towards some pondering, reframing, reevaluating, and rewilding of your current beliefs for a more sustainable thought ecosystem.
If you found these prompts useful, let me know in the comments! Join me next month for some new prompts to ponder :)
